A Creative Approach to Campus Safety
When Community Academy of Philadelphia received a grant from the Pennsylvania Safety Commission to improve pedestrian safety, Horgan was selected for our proven expertise and our creative, design-minded approach to safety.
We gave them more than barriers— our solution integrated impact-rated bollards with thoughtfully placed planters. We enhanced protection for students and staff while maintaining the school’s welcoming, community-oriented atmosphere of their urban campus.
The result provided required pedestrian protection while introducing greenery and brightness to this urban school campus, adding life rather than more concrete to this city charter school.
