Project Overview
Amplity faced the challenge of doubling its workstation capacity from 100+ to over 200 to accommodate the relocation of additional teams. The existing AIS Divi cubicles were only two years old, lightly used, and not fully depreciated. Proposals from other vendors recommended removing and selling the existing cubicles as used furniture and purchasing entirely new systems—making the project financially unfeasible.
Key Achievements
- Innovative Reconfiguration: Leveraging deep knowledge of the AIS Divi system and its components, Horgan developed a creative design solution to reconfigure and repurpose the existing furniture.
- 100% Furniture Reuse: By reimagining the typical connection methods of panels, Horgan achieved full reuse of the existing furniture, avoiding unnecessary waste and expense.
- Cost Efficiency: Delivered a cost-effective solution that utilized only 15% of the budget initially proposed by outside vendors.
- Doubled Workstation Capacity: The innovative approach successfully doubled the workstation count without requiring new furniture purchases.
- Budget-Friendly Solution: Horgan’s creative thinking and strategic implementation delivered a scalable, cost-effective solution that aligned with Amplity’s financial and operational goals.
